Jules Verne was a French writer born on February 8, 1828, in Nantes, France.
He is known for his adventure novels, especially those about travelling and exploration. His most famous books are Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, Around the World in Eighty Days, and Journey to the Center of the Earth. Verne was very curious and liked imagining the future. Many of his stories were inspiring and predicted inventions that later became real, like submarines and space travel.
He died on March 24, 1905.
