The history of cars started more than 100 years ago. The first cars were very different from modern cars. In 1886, Karl Benz created one of the first cars with a petrol engine. It was small, had three wheels and was slow. At that time, cars were expensive and only a few people could buy them.

Later, cars started to improve and became more popular. Henry Ford created the Ford Model T and used a new way to make cars faster. Because of this, more people could buy a car. During the 20th century, cars became safe, faster and more comfortable. New things like seat belts and airbags made cars safer for drivers and passengers.

Nowadays, cars are much more modern and have many new technologies. Many cars have screens, cameras, GPS and systems that help the driver. Also, electric and hybrid cars are becoming more popular because they use less petrol and are better for the environment. In my opinion, cars have changed a lot over the years, and I think they will become even more modern in the future.
